All timber with come untreated (Picture shown is treated) and will require a wood preservative before installation.
You will receive a pair of oak driveway gates only (no posts or ironwork unless selected when ordering).
4ft, 5ft and 6ft heights available to purchase. Please note that the photos that show the back of the gates without a mid rail are the 4ft high gates, as they don’t have one.
There is a £350 visible flush bottom rail option. Please ensure you select this if the gates will be underground automated as they require this option. The last five photos show the gates with a visible flush bottom rail.

- European Oak
- 70mm x 120mm Stiles, Mid Rail and Head
- 45mm x 95mm Mid Rail and Bracing
- 70mm x 145mm Bottom Rail
- 45mm x 70mm Spindles with 45 degree Chamfer
- All joints are Mortice & Tenoned plus dowelled for strength
- All Rails and bracing are 9 degrees to shed water off
- 21mm Tongue and groove boards with v-groove (which are glued and secret pinned with stainless pins)
Height up to the top of the rail is 1800mm lowest point, with a decorative horn which is an additional 5″(125mm), plus a rise up to 350mm.
The spindles are 1/3, and the board is 2/3 of the height of the gate, approximately.
On these oak driveway gates, as an example, if you order a 2400mm wide pair, you will receive two gates at 1200mm wide each.
