Please note that the gate comes untreated and will need a wood preservative before installation. You will receive the Oak Side Gate only, without any posts or ironwork unless selected when ordering.
The gate specifications include 70mm x 95mm Stiles and Top Rail, 38mm x 95mm Mid Rail, Bottom Rail, and Bracing, 45mm x 70mm Spindles with a 45-degree Chamfer. All joints are Mortice & Tenoned and dowelled for strength.
Additionally, all Rails and bracing are angled at 9 degrees to shed water off. The gate features 21mm Tongue and groove boards with v-groove that are glued and secured with stainless pins. The total height up to the top of the rail in the picture is 1800mm with a Decorative Horn adding an extra 4″ (100mm).
The Flush Bottom rail is usually set up 100mm, but you can opt for the £50 visible flush bottom rail upgrade shown in the last three photos. Remember, this gate can also be customised to meet your specific measurements.
