Oiling is a great option for those who want to enhance the natural beauty of their wooden garage doors whilst still protecting the door. The oil accentuates the natural grain and colour of the wood, while preserving the timber.
Heavy Duty Frame, Ledge & Braced Mortice & Tenoned Garage Doors.
All timber is untreated and will require a wood preservative before installation.
You will receive a pair of Oak Garage Doors only (no frame or ironwork unless you select them).
Manufactured from:
- European Oak
- 95mm x 45mm Stiles and Top Rail
- 95mm x 23mm Mid Rail, Bottom Rail and Bracing
- All joints are Mortice & Tenoned plus Glue and dowelled for strength
- 21mm Tongue and groove boards with v-groove (which are glued and secret pinned with stainless pins)
- Centre rebate, right hand door to open first view from front
Bottom rail is set 100mm up for Hinge Clearance, if you require a visible flush bottom rail please select this option when ordering, the last three photos of the doors show what this looks like. The very last drawing on the listing shows what the weather board looks like.
On these Oak Garage Door as an example if you order a 2438mm wide pair you will receive two doors at 1219mm wide each. (Picture shown is a 1981mm Height x 2438mm Wide gate Board Quantity may vary on different width doors, Colour and Knot content may vary).
These doors can be made to measure, if you require a bespoke size then please ensure that you order the size above what you require and enter you sizes into the bespoke size box.
