Framed, Ledged & Braced, Mortice & Tenoned Herringbone Boarded Flat Top Side Gate 6ft
All timber is untreated and will require a wood preservative before installation.
You will receive a side gate only (no posts or ironwork unless selected when ordering).
You can choose the side that you will be hinging your gate when you order. The first five photos show a right hand hinged side gate and the final five photos show a left hand hinged side gate
Specification for the gate is as follows;
- 45mm x 95mm Stiles and Top Rail
- 38mm x 95mm Mid Rail, Bottom Rail and Bracing
- Bottom rail is flush as per the drawing, if you want it to be visible you will need to select this option when ordering, both hinged sides show a visible flush bottom rail option in the photos
- All joints are Mortice & Tenoned plus dowelled for strength
- All Rails and bracing is 9 degreed to shred water off
- 15mm Tongue and groove boards with v-groove (which are glued and secret pinned with stainless pins)
- Height Up to the Top of Rail in picture is 1800mm, with Decorative Horn which is an additional 4″(100mm)
